Last Tuesday Of Each Month, 6-7 PM with Andy Wood

Brownsville Area Mindful Educators Network (BAMEN) gatherings will take place on the last Tuesday of every month from 6-7 pm at Jai Yoga Studio, 1383 VT-44, Brownsville, VT 05037.

Do you work with children in a school or educational setting? Are you looking for tools to help nourish YOURSELF so that you can do your best work for others??? Come to this FREE EVENT!!!

Join other Educators and Caregivers for Meditation and Rejuvenation on Tuesday, September 25, 6-7 FREE For Educators!

As educators and caregivers that work with children, our focus must include building resiliency, kindness, and compassion within ourselves in order to live these behaviors in our classrooms and care settings. Our gatherings will also provide opportunities to explore how we can explicitly teach these practices to the children we work with.

Gatherings will be facilitated by Andrew Wood. Andrew began working in education in 1996. He is a Dharma Teacher in the International Kwan Um School of Zen and recipient of the 2014 Hemera Contemplative Educators Fellowship. He has maintained a meditation practice for over 20 years. In addition to participating in and facilitating countless retreats, he completed a 100 day retreat in 2015, as well as a 30 day solo retreat in the Maine woods in 2016.
